ABOUT TEMPE

Tempe is a vibrant and diverse city, located in the East Valley section of metropolitan Phoenix.  Bordered by Phoenix on the west, Scottsdale on the north, Chandler on the south, and Mesa on the east, Tempe’s population is just over 162,000.  Many consider Tempe to be the hub of the East Valley as it’s close to downtown Phoenix, the airport, and all 6 major freeways in the Phoenix Metro area.

North Tempe is home to Arizona State University, one of the largest public universities in the country.  With a more urban feel, it’s dominated by students, nightlife, and various other forms of entertainment.  There are also several corporate headquarters that line Tempe’s Town Lake including State Farm, LifeLock, & US Airways.

South Tempe on the other hand is largely suburban, getting more expensive the further south you go.  This stark contrast is what makes Tempe so unique compared to other East Valley cities.

Homes in downtown Tempe vary from 1930’s-1960’s ranch style homes in north Tempe to 1990’s-2000’s stucco homes in south Tempe.  There are also several custom built homes in the southern most zip codes.

They’re passionate about helping people accomplish their real estate goals and exceeding their expectations. As an investor himself, Mike first got into real estate in 2011. With rates and property values low, he saw an opportunity to make a healthy profit with rental properties. Within a year, the passion for investing quickly turned into a full time business. As his knowledge grew, so did his opportunities as he was asked to train all the incoming agents for his brokerage after only being in the business a year and a half. In December of 2016, he joined the fastest growing agency in town, North&Co., to help expand their southeast valley presence.
