Mesa is the third most populous city in Arizona after Phoenix and Tucson, bordered by Tempe on the west, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community on the north, Chandler and Gilbert on the south, and Apache Junction on the east. The city is home to approximately 444,000.
Mesa is commonly split in two – west Mesa and East Mesa. West Mesa is the older part of town with homes going back to the 1880’s. It’s also the home of the vibrant and diverse downtown area. West Mesa residents are prideful. East Mesa, on the other hand, is newer, typically more affluent, and scenic due to it’s proximity to the Superstition Mountains.
Homes in Mesa are just as diverse. You can buy a large custom estate on the mountainside or a tri-plex near downtown. The options are endless.
